flight: BON- AMS -LEM

While writing this I’m already in Lemnos, but let’s start with the last few days in Bonaire as they were too good  not to mention!

It was such a good trip! The wind was great, i managed to sail mostly every day and it was so much fun living  with Oda and Maeli, I think we really pushed each other a lot and we almost became a married couple (but then with three- and with just girls; which is not really a common married couple :P) with all our shared daily routines, cake bakings and making fun of each other. As i mentioned in my last blog, we were working on a episode of clips from our life and our windsurf training in Bonaire with the three of us. I think it shows some good girls action and i have never seen a movie before with more girls so its something new!

The first episode of the movie we made of the three of us will be released today or tomorrow so hope you will like it!

Sadly enough i was leaving on the 10th of April, as i was enjoying sailing a lot and felt i was improving every day, but im very happy with the month i had, managed to land some kono’s and even a culo, so hope i can continue working on those moves soon again!

My flight back was to Amsterdam, were my lovely dad was picking me up like always (or my lovely mum) even now it’s alkono last daymost a monthly job for them flying up and down to Schiphol. However this time I wasn’t that lucky because my dad had no time to bring me back home as he had to work, so my only option was to join him to his workshop. It was only three in the night in Bonaire, so with a big jetlag and with a look that you get when you’ve just been in a plane for 10 hours (especially when it’s a arkefly plane..) i went to a workshop from my dad. It turned out to be reallly cool, so nice to see what he is actually doing while working and it kept me going that day while otherwise i would have probably been really cold, tired and sad from leaving Bonaire at home!

The day after I arrived it was windy in Holland so i had a cold water session with my dad! The water was not even that cold to be honest, the sun was out and my dad was doing some epic one-handed carving 360’s around me.

After spending some quality time with my friends and family, and a lovely Easter weekend it was time to pack my bags again (which becomes like a routine job!) this time to see my boyfriend James again after being apart for two months who is working in Lemnos, a Greek island for the whole season.

It hasn’t been windy just yet, but the forecast looks better for next week so fingers crossed!

Keep checking my blog and facebook for our movie that we will release VERY SOON!
