Yoga, Mindfulness & Windsurf 2025

We are very proud to announce our 6th edition of our Wellness,  Yoga & Windsurf retreat!  After four very successful years with our Yoga & Windsurf Clinics full of  joy, wind, yoga and improvement we decided two years ago that we also wanted  to organise a week with more focus on Yoga, SUP yoga, relaxation, breathing and meditation but of course also lots of windsurfing besides our well known  Yoga & Windsurf Clinic

 

CLINIC INFORMATION​

The Windsurf & Yoga holiday combines the exhilaration of windsurfing with the relaxation of yoga – all set in the breathtaking location at Sorobon Beach.

Yoga complements windsurfing and can greatly improve your performance in the water. Windsurfing makes you stronger, but the many hours on the water also causes sore and tensed muscles. Yoga brings this back in balance and helps being focused.

In the Wellness week there is more focus on yoga, SUP, mindfulness and meditation.

Bonaire, a location well known for delivering some of the world most famous windsurfers, is a place with constant trade winds, amazing crystal clear water and nice shallow  lagoon for learning. Half of the island is a nature reservation, which makes it a peaceful and quiet island. Perfect for relaxing your mind and body and becoming in peace again with yourself.

Who

For everyone who wants to treat themselves to a week full of windsurfing, mindfulness, breathing and yoga. Windsurfing in the most beautiful bay in the world and refuelling your mind and body. Beginner, intermediate or advanced windsurfers are all welcome. No yoga experience required, we will adapt to your level and needs. 

What

Five days of windsurfing coaching and yoga practice  with theory and video analyses, 1 on 1 headset teaching and  with focus on Yoga, SUP, relaxation, , breathing mediation. 

The clinic includes many different yoga sessions:   

  • Vinyasa FLOW yoga  
  • SUP yoga
  • Breathwork yoga
  • YIN yoga
  • Island yoga with a snorkelling session at Klein Bonaire
  • Nidra yoga

PACKAGE

  • 5 days with a daily windsurf lesson from Arrianne
  • daily yoga sessions (different styles and locations) and meditations
  • video and photo analyses
  • Boat trip to Little Bonaire with a breakfast picnic and snorkel session 
  • 1 on 1 headset coaching 
  • welcome drinks on the opening evening
  • Sup rental for the SUP yoga 

This options do NOT include:

  • windsurf gear rental / accommodation / transfer / transportation

Impression

The Location

We will windsurf at Lac Bay, which is a beautiful lagoon surrounded by mangroves. The lake is part of the protected underwater park and has been an designated area of international importance because of it’s seagrasses, mangroves, birds and turtles. 

Sorobon Beach is at the entrance of Lac Bay and this is where the windsurfing will take place. It has a very large shallow part where you can stand and after that it gets deep, for the ones who like to go for a long cruise all around the bay. You can see beautiful turtles swimming around while you blast over the turquoise water and in the background you can  see the mangroves and the reef. It’s probably the best place in the world to learn to windsurf and to improve your windsurfing due to it’s consistent wind and shallow water!

More information

You will be taught windsurfing by me. I am a professional windsurfer and  PWA Vice World Champion Freestyle / Dutch Wave Champion. Besides competing on the World Tour I am also a certified and very experienced windsurf instructor who knows exactly how to teach.  Although I want everyone to improve their windsurfing I find it even more important to make sure you feel comfortable, happy and confident in what you are practising, and I love to motivate people.

Besides windsurfing I practise a lot of yoga. While windsurfing all year round I realised that yoga helps my body to recover and to perform better. The breathing and mental part of yoga has helped me a lot during competitions to focus and perform better. I am a certified yoga instructor and I have also a Breathwork Master certificate.

Ladina is a very experienced yoga teacher, massage therapist, sport teacher and a very passionate windsurfer too. We has developed a special yoga program that includes seven different yoga styles.

Each of them will be a unique experience. Yoga on the little island of Bonaire, yoga on a SUP board, we make sure you will mentally and physically recover, energise and in peace with yourself.
